In 2018, my family spent four months living in London and almost a month traveling in Italy. I started this blog not knowing what our adventures abroad would hold, but wanting to document and share our experience. I fell in love with England and the abundance and joy I experienced living there- simply yet so richly- changed my life.
Like the children in Narnia who return to England forever changed having met Aslan, I no longer want to settle for imitation happiness but long for truth and authentic beauty. Much of this plays out in the nitty gritty of everyday life choices, but my pursuit of simple yet rich has also led me down a few new paths. First, I became certified as a yoga instructor. I am crafting a vision for a mindful physical practice that honors Christian scripture and can be part of a healthy spiritual discipline that helps us experience God's presence. Second, I stepped way out of my comfort zone to start a business, Briton Home, importing some of my favorite British artisan-made products for the home. Finally, I've picked back up the blog I started in London and write about "Minding the Gap" in the everyday.
